Hotspots and markers

To add marker or hotspot right click on the image and choose Add marker or hotspots.


Marker is similar to location markers in Google maps: it is a dot on the image which can show additional information if hovered over.

Hotspot is an area of the image that can have additional information.


One image can have many hotspots and markers at the same time.

When Marker/Hotspot dialog opens, click Add marker. Marker will appear on top of the image. Drag it across to a location you want.

Right-click on the marker to add data.

Click Save in the bottom of the dialog when you are done.

When Marker/Hotspot dialog opens, click Add hotspot. Hotspot zone will appear on top of the image. Drag it across to a location you want and resize by dragging the sides of the green zone.

Right-click on the hotspot to add data.

Click Save in the bottom of the dialog when you are done.

Adding data to markers and hotspots

Step 1

Select Add data from the dropdown. That will open the Marker/Hotspot modal window.

Adding data to markers and hotspots is the same.

Step 2

In the top left corner of the modal window
open the  dropdown and select Textfield.

Step 3

Name is the text that will appear in the tooltip when user hovers over the marker/hotspot.

Value is the link to which marker/hotspot will lead. It should be absolute path with http in the beginning.

Click Save after you are done.

Marker on the image

Marker shows as button with + icon which shows tooltip on hover.

If there is no marker data, marker will not show up.

Hotspot on the image

Hotspot shows as a transparent hover area when user hovers over it. Data shows as a tooltip.

If there is no data, hotspot will not show up.
